The footer is the bar of information at the bottom of a web page. It might contain your site navigation, a logo, privacy rules, social media links, and contact information.
This article shows you how to create a footer with the Footer Component. Adding content to the Footer Component is described elsewhere.

1 Creating a footer
Place a footer on your website by dragging a Footer Component to the bottom of the Homepage.
- Click WEBSITE on the top menu bar.
- On the left side menu, select the CONTENT folder and then click Manage. The Website Content page displays.
- Hover your mouse pointer on Homepage.
- Click the Edit button. The Edit Content area opens.
- Drag the Footer Component to the bottom of the web page.
2 Understanding Footer Component elements
The Footer Component is a block of working space designed for easy customisation.
- A single Section Column creates the outer structure of the footer.
- Column Components build internal structure by creating horizontal cells that hold content, such as headings, text, and images.
- Spacer Components create white space which helps readability.
3 Adding content
To add content to the Footer Component, open the Edit Footer panel.
- Go to the Edit Content area of the Homepage.
- Hover the mouse pointer on the Footer Component.
- Click the Pencil button in the bottom right corner.
Now you can insert content by modifying elements already in the footer, or by adding components from the Drag and Drop panel on the left side of the screen.
4 Customising settings
To change the size, design, or behaviour of the Footer Component, open the Settings panel.
- Go to the Edit Content area of the Homepage.
- Hover the mouse pointer on the Footer Component.
- Click the Pencil button in the bottom right corner.
- Click the round Settings button in the bottom right corner next to the Save button. The Footer Component Settings panel opens.
