Using the WeChat Component Toolbar

This article shows you how to find and use Component toolbars.

Every drag and drop component has a toolbar. The toolbar is visible when the mouse pointer hovers a component on the content page in the centre column of the WeChat editor workspace.

1  Locating the component toolbar

You display the toolbar by hovering the mouse pointer on a component.

1. Go to the WeChat editor workspace.
2. Go to the content page in the centre of the workspace.
3. Hover the mouse pointer on a component. The toolbar displays three buttons.

2  Understanding the tools

Each toolbar has three buttons.

Delete 

Remove the component from the content page.

Clone

Make a copy of the component. The copy is placed under the original. 

Add to My Components

Click this button to save the component in the My Components folder. This is a time-saving tool if you create a unique component in one rich post or WeChat article and want to use it in other posts or articles.
