This article shows you how to add and format text on a webpage. You don’t place text directly on a webpage page. Instead, you write words inside a Text Component.
Text Components are commonly placed inside:
- columns
- sections
- header
- footer

1 Adding text
Click PUBLISH on the top menu bar. A popup window displays. Click Website Content > Manage.
The Website Content page displays.
- Hover your mouse pointer on a page.
- Click the Edit button. The Edit Content area opens.
Drag a Text Component into a workspace.
Click the Text Component and then click the preset text Click Here to Edit. The preset text then disappears. Type the words you want in the field.
After typing, click outside the Text Component. If you press Enter on the keyboard, you add a new line inside the Text Component.

3 Inserting special characters
Special characters can be inserted into a Text Component. These characters include shapes, signs, internet symbols, and iconic images.
