Note: The Sinorbis translator provides translations for simple words and phrases. We don’t recommend it for sentences, passages, or complex translations.
1 Locating the translator
Many Drag and Drop components have a translator. These components include Navigation, Image, Logo, Button, and Section. After you click the Settings button, look for the built-in translator icon.
2 Using the translator
- Locate a component and click the Settings button.
- Delete existing text (if any) in the line.
- Type an English word or phrase into the text field.
- Click the translator icon. The translated text (based on locale) appears in the text field.
- Click OK.
3 Creating bilingual text
Use the translator to produce bilingual text output for buttons, headings, and image captions.
- Type an English word or phrase into the text field.
- Click the translate icon. The translated text (based on locale) appears in the text field.
- Type the English text again beside the translated text.
- Click OK.
4 Translating with Text & Heading Components
A second built-in translator is inside Text and Heading Components. It does the same translation work but is activated with the mouse.
- Drag a Text or Heading Component into a workspace.
- Type an English word or phrase into the component.
- Highlight the text with the mouse pointer. A black menu bar displays.
- Click the translate icon in the menu bar. Translated text (based on locale) replaces the English text.
