This article shows you how to find the Contacts page and use the data management tools. You also learn how to create segments, which are groups of contacts. Segments are a powerful communication tool that let you send high-interest rich posts to a targeted set of contacts.

1 Opening the Contacts page
Go to ENGAGE > Contacts.
To display WeChat contacts, click the All Sources field and select WeChat.
2 Previewing contact information
When someone follows your WeChat account, Sinorbis collects several types of information. This information is presented in a table format. You can sort the table information by clicking the arrows in these column labels:
- full name
- added on (date)
- last contact (date)
WeChat no longer provides gender and location information of the contacts who have started to follow an official account after 20th October 2021 due to the introduction of the new Personal Information Protection law in China.
3 Reviewing segments
The Contacts page has a default segment called Favourites and multiple custom segments. To open the list of available segments:
- Click the tab All Segments field.
- Select a segment. The list of contacts in the table changes.
4 Creating a segment
You can create up to 40 custom segments.
- Go to the top right corner of the page.
- Click the green button Manage Segments button. A popup displays.
- Enter a segment name.
- Click Add and then click Done. The new segment is added to the All Segments list.
5 Adding a contact to a segment
On the Contacts page:
- Check the boxes to assign contact records to a segment.
- Click the Bulk Edit
- Popup window will open.
On the Bulk Edit popup window, you can:
Select or change the segment
Assign or update the owner
Select or deselect individual contacts
Click Confirm to apply the changes
6 Removing a contact from a segment
You can remove a contact from a segment.
- Locate the contact profile you want to change.
- Locate the segment name.
- Click the X.
- Select YES in the confirmation prompt. The contact is removed from the segment.
7 Reading contact messages
You can access messages sent by a contact.
- Click a contact name. A new page displays.
- If the contact sent you a message, the Message History window displays the thread. If the contact has not sent a message, the centre window has a No Conversation message.
