This article shows you how to place a link inside a menu tab auto response message. When a main menu tab or submenu item is clicked, WeChat followers are directed to that URL.
You can place a link inside a main menu tab if it does not a submenu tab. If you have created a submenu tab, you can place a link inside a submenu item, but not the main menu tab.

- On the top menu, click WECHAT. The WeChat Content page displays.
- On the left side menu, click the SETTINGS folder and then Menu. The Menu page displays.
2 Adding a link to a submenu tab
- Hover the mouse pointer on a submenu tab. The background turns light green and the toolbar displays.
- Click the Edit button. The Edit Menu Item panel opens.
- Click the Link tab.
- Enter the URL for a web page or WeChat post. Include the http:// or https:// prefix.
- Click Done.
3 Adding a link to a main menu tab
You can place a link inside a main menu tab if it does not have a submenu item. When you create a new main menu tab, you must add a link (or message content) because it does not have any submenu items yet. The link or message content can be changed at a later date.
- Click Add New Menu Item. The Add New Menu Item panel displays.
- Enter a unique name for the main menu tab.
- Click the Link tab.
- Enter the URL for a web page or WeChat post. Include the http:// or https:// prefix.
- Click Done.
