Some components, such as the Carousel and Slider, ask you to change the size of an image. The choices are FIT and FILL. The choice you make affects how an image displays on your site.
1 Choosing FILL display
FILL displays the largest image size. The FILL option expands the picture out to the component’s maximum width. The aspect ratio is not changed, so there is no image distortion. However, some images may appear grainy because of pixelation.
Depending on the size of your image and the component’s display dimensions, parts of the image may extend beyond the component’s display area.
When FILL is selected, you can adjust image display by shifting the image along an up-down vertical axis (V Focus) or a left-right horizontal axis (H Focus).
2 Choosing FIT display
The FIT option adjusts image size so that it fully displays inside the component. The aspect ratio is not changed, so there is no image distortion.
