This article shows you how to view website traffic by acquisition channel using the All Channels report.
1 All Channels
The All Channels report is located under Acquisition in the Reports section.
It shows how visitors reached your website across different acquisition channels.
Reports > Acquisition > All Channels
2 Selecting a date range
Use the Date range at the top of the page to select the period you want to review.
The acquisition data updates based on the selected date range.
3 Viewing acquisition channels
The chart provides a visual breakdown of visits by acquisition channel.
Channels can include:
- Direct Entry – visits where no referring source was identified.
- Search Engines – visits referred from a search engine.
- Websites – visits referred from another website.
- Campaign – visits attributed to a tracked campaign.
- AI Assistant – visits referred from an AI assistant.
- Social Networks – visits referred from a social network.
The available channels depend on the traffic recorded during the selected period.
4 Reading channel data
The table provides performance information for each acquisition channel.
- Name – the acquisition channel.
- Visits – the number of visits attributed to the channel.
- % of Visits – the percentage of total visits represented by the channel.
- Actions – the number of tracked visitor actions recorded during those visits.
- Actions per Visit – the average number of tracked actions recorded per visit.
- Avg. Time on Website – the average amount of time visitors from the channel spent on the website.
- Bounce Rate – the percentage of visits that viewed only one page.
% of Visits = Visits for the channel ÷ Total visits
Actions per Visit = Actions ÷ Visits
