Devices – Sinorbis

This article shows you how to view information about the devices visitors use to access your website.

The Devices report allows you to review data by Device Type, Device Brand and Device Model.

1 Devices

The Devices report is located under Visitors in the Reports section.

Reports > Visitors > Devices

Use the Date range at the top of the page to select the period you want to review.

The device data displayed on the page updates based on the selected date range.

Select Device Type to view visitor activity grouped by the detected type of device.

The chart provides a visual breakdown of visits by device type.

The table displays:

Name – the detected device type.
Visits – the number of visits using that device type.
% of Visits – the percentage of total visits represented by that device type.
Actions – the number of tracked visitor actions recorded for that device type.
Actions per Visit – the average number of tracked actions recorded per visit.
Avg. Time on Website – the average amount of time spent on the website.
Bounce Rate – the percentage of visits that viewed only one page.

% of Visits = Visits for the device type ÷ Total visits

Actions per Visit = Actions ÷ Visits

Select Device Brand to view visitor activity grouped by detected device brand.

The chart and table display the same visitor metrics as the Device Type view.

If a device brand cannot be identified, it may appear as Unknown.

Select Device Model to view visitor activity grouped by detected device model.

The chart and table display the same visitor metrics as the Device Type view.

Where a specific model cannot be identified, a general device description may be displayed.
