This article shows you how to view when website visits occur.
The Times report allows you to review activity by Local Time, Server Time and Day of Week.
1 Times
The Times report is located under Visitors in the Reports section.
Reports > Visitors > Times
2 Selecting a date range
Use the Date range at the top of the page to select the period you want to review.
The data displayed on the page updates based on the selected date range.
3 Local Time
Select Local Time to view visitor activity grouped by the local hour associated with the visitor.
The chart shows how visits are distributed throughout the day.
The table displays:
- Name – the local time at which visits occurred.
- Visits – the number of visits recorded at that time.
- % of Visits – the percentage of total visits recorded at that time.
- Actions – the number of tracked visitor actions recorded during those visits.
- Actions per Visit – the average number of tracked actions recorded per visit.
- Avg. Time on Website – the average amount of time spent on the website.
- Bounce Rate – the percentage of visits that viewed only one page.
% of Visits = Visits for the time period ÷ Total visits
Actions per Visit = Actions ÷ Visits
4 Server Time
Select Server Time to view visitor activity grouped by the server time recorded for the visit.
The chart and table display the same visitor metrics as the Local Time view.
Local Time and Server Time may differ.
5 Day of Week
Select Day of Week to view visitor activity grouped by the day on which visits occurred.
The chart displays activity from Monday to Sunday.
The table displays the same visitor metrics as the Local Time view.
