The Search Ranking page contains charts and tables that provide insights into your website's performance. This article shows you how to find and read the charts and tables.
The Search Ranking page has three sections:
- Visibility
- Ranking
- Performance
1 Opening the Search Ranking page
- Click WEBSITE on the top menu bar. The Website Content page displays.
- Locate the menu on the left side of the page.
- Click the SEO folder.
- Click Search Ranking. The page displays.
2 Opening Visibility charts
There are two Visibility charts. They show changes in your site's Visibility score over time.
- Click Visibility.
- Click Competitors to compare your website's performance with competing sites.
- Click Search Engines to see how your site's visibility changed over time on different search engines.
- Customize the time period by changing the settings in the Date Picker.
- Customise the X-axis by changing the unit of measurement: days, weeks, or months.
- On the Seach Engine chart, click a search engine name to add multiple data sets.
- To remove data from the Search Engine chart, click the search engine name at the bottom of the chart.
- Hover the mouse pointer on the chart to see specific figures.
The chart below shows the change in this site's Visibility score over time. It also shows the Visibility score for two search engines: Baidu Desktop and Sogou Desktop.
3 Opening the Ranking chart
There is one Ranking chart. It shows changes in keyword rankings over time for a given search engine.
- On the Search Ranking page, click Ranking.
- Customize the time period by changing the settings in the Date Picker.
- Customize the data by changing the search engine.
- To highlight one segment, go to the bottom of the chart and then hover the mouse pointer on one segment name.
- Hover the mouse pointer on the bar chart to see keyword ranking details for all segments for a specific period of time.
The Ranking chart is a cumulative total of keyword rankings for 6 segments.
- top rank (number 1)
- rank top 2 to 5
- rank top 6 to 10
- rank top 11 to 20
- rank top 21 to 30
- rank 30+
4 Opening the Performance table
The Performance table gives you detailed information about specific keywords. As above, performance data change with the time period and search engine.
The Performance table has two sections:
- Top 5 Gainers (5 keywords with the greatest increase in search engine ranking)
- Top 5 Losers (5 keywords with the greatest decrease in search engine ranking)
- Click Performance.
- To see a complete list of keyword changes, click VIEW FULL REPORT at the bottom of the table.
Understanding table data
Translation
The English translation of Chinese keywords (if available).
Rank
Position of the keyword on the selected search engine.
Rank Change
Indicates how many positions the selected keyword has increased or decreased during the selected time period.
Difficulty
Estimates the relative competition for the selected keyword.
Landing Page
Shows which page URL the search engine sends users to when searching the selected keyword.
Optimisation Score
The figure inside a circle indicates how optimised the landing page is relative to the corresponding keyword. Green figures are good.
