Yes, it's possible to add new users, provided you have subscribed to the Sinorbis Enterprise plan. You can add up to 9 users to your Sinorbis account. You can also lock or delete users who have access to your account. If you're currently not an Enterprise subscriber, please contact us directly to discuss your options for enabling this feature.
Currently, each new user gets Admin access to your website. That means they can create, modify, and delete the content on your site. In the near future, we plan on adding a menu of role options.
1 Opening the account summary page
The first step is to open the Account Summary page. There are two ways to open the Account Summary page.
Via Users Link
- Scroll up to the top of the page and locate your ID on the top menu bar.
- Hover the mouse pointer on your ID. A drop-down menu displays.
- Click Users. The Account Summary page displays.
Via Profile & Settings
- Scroll up to the top of the page and locate your ID on the top menu bar.
- Hover the mouse pointer on your ID. A drop-down menu displays.
- Click Profile & Settings. The Account Summary page displays.
- Click the Users tab.
2 Inviting a user
The next step is to add a user. New users are not automatically added to your account. Instead, you invite a person to join. Once the invitation is accepted, they are added as a user.
- Click the Users tab on the Account Summary page. A list of users with access to your account displays.
- Click the +Add button. A popup box displays.
- Enter new user information.
- Click the box under Region and a drop-down menu displays. In most cases, the best option is Rest of the world.
- Click Send Invite. The popup box closes and the Account Summary page displays.
3 Waiting for a user
After sending an invitation, a new name appears on the user's list. The status of the user is Invited. That status does not change until the invited person opens their email and clicks the Create Sinorbis Account button.
After the user accepts the invitation and creates a password, the user status changes to Active.
4 Managing new users
The account owner has access to management tools which are not available to added users. The account owner can lock and delete users.
- To access the management tools, hover the mouse pointer on the user you want to edit. A toolbar displays.
- Click Lock to prevent the user from logging into your Sinorbis account.
- Click Delete to remove the user from the system.
